Activity Category: Swimming Holes
If you follow Mount Glorious Road out of Samford Valley, you will find a nice set of rockpools on the South Pine River. The carpark to the first swimming hole is simply a bitumen strip directly on the road. Look over the guard rail and you will see a track leading to the rock pool. If you drive 300meters further there is a gravel carpark. This is a popular place to cool off on a hot Brisbane day.
Further up Mount Glorious Road there is also waterfall with a rockpool carved out of it. Parking again is right on the road. You will drive straight past these rock holes if you are not paying attention, however there will most probably already be some cars parked on the road if it is a nice sunny day,
